Introduction:
The research program aims to fine-map and identify genes involved in susceptibility/resistance towards Pulmonary Hypertension Syndrome in chicken. The first objective of the research is to explore different opportunities to improve the analysis of fine mapping experiments of QTL in an experimental population with a multi-generation pedigree. The second objective is to conduct analysis in experimental population. Furthermore the project will involve association studies of selected genetic variants in commercial populations
